KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 – Industry leaders and stakeholders convened at Sofitel KL Damansara for a pre-launch fireside chat of the third edition of Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL Network 2025, an event that will highlight the growing role of Halal-certified products in the global food and beverage (F&B) industry.

Taking place from July 1-3 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), the event will bring together leading F&B brands, Halal industry pioneers, and key innovators to explore opportunities in one of the fastest-growing sectors globally.

Speaking at the event, Comexposium Sdn Bhd Exhibition Director (Southeast Asia), Henri Tan emphasized that trade fairs like FDM 2025 are evolving to meet market demands, particularly in the Halal sector, which is experiencing rapid expansion due to increasing consumer awareness and demand for Halal-certified products worldwide.

Deputy Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Chan Foong Hin graced the pre-launch gathering alongside representatives from the Malaysian Cocoa Board, the Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board, and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). Their presence underscores the importance of Halal-compliant supply chains in Malaysia’s agricultural exports.
